All of this rain is #$%*ing killing me down here.  I swear to god it has not stopped raining for the past 2.5 weeks.  My yard is slowly eroding away, my grass is dying from disease due to the over-saturation of water in the piss poor soil at my house, and I can't do jack #$%* to my bike because there is no power at the building and I will have to wait at least another week for the damn slope to dry out enough to ride my bike up it to the road.   If the #$%*ing weatherman comes on the air and says we are still in a drought I think I may walk out the door and shoot the first thing I see moving.

Lack of rain is making me crazy.  Lake level is the lowest since the mid 60's and dropping a foot a week.

I hear ya nccb............my yard has become a pool, and the damn pool water sucks cause of the rain.

Haven't been able to ride forever it seems.

Wanted to ride to Greenwood, SC, this past Saturday, but rain cancelled that.

Hopefully Tuesday will be the day I'll be starting to ride again.

I can't remember a june/july that has been like this in a LONG time.  This is like early spring rain.  I went out in the woods today at work and just relished the heat, breathed in and said, "Thank the lord; its over!"  10 day forecast is predicting it for next week

Up here in the Smokies it has not stopped all summer! Lawn looks like a jungle, can't get a window to mow and this morning found a mushroom growing out of the patio outdoor carpet! My neighbor has a rain gauge and said 2 weeks ago that we were already at 19 inches above normal. Already dropped the bike once on wet grass and had a hell of a job getting up the slope on Friday, spinning wheel and fishtailing like mad. Grrrrr!

Thats how my yard is.  I have a huge rut up the hill. I am hoping it will be dry come the weekend but with my luck, God will send down one cloud to unleash a torrential downpour over my house.

Damn. It's summer out here in CA. I didn't know you guys had it so bad. I love the rain though, I'm not sure I'd complain that much.. but it would be fun to have rain for a week.

ha, well it is a good thing I guess but sucks just the same.  We had a tropical storm and then just bad luck with storm cells through the southeast.  I imagine Texas and Colorado need it bad as well.

 Here on the west coast we are dying for rain.     All of the lakes and reservoirs are real low.      40 days and 40 nights would be good.

I think we are out of it now.  For the past week its been in the 90's with a heat index of 105. . .now it will feel like I am riding in front a giant blow drier.  Why can't everything always be perfect

Looks like we get  douched again tonight. Flash flood warnings in July, second wettest July on record and the month is not over.

But it's eliminated the drought in a large part of Oklahoma.

Hey its somebody else's turn as far as I'm concerned. We are having the best summer we've had in a long time here in the PNW and I'm not trading for anything.

Sh!t....I tell ya, this greed sh!t has got to go.

Last year the water company raised our rates due to demand, and put us on a water restriction because of the drought.

The dumb mudders are raising our rates this year cause we've had so much rain, that they have'nt made the money they made last year, because no one is using it to water their lawns.

I may have to cut it more often, but I'm loving it for that reason only.

Still hit and miss when it comes to riding.
