We have many jokes like this, mostly to the idea that cops are dumb:


Chief of the team says:  The raid will start exactly at 11:48, for guys with digital watch I repeat nightstick, nightstick, chair and snowman.

We used to have the same thing in Ireland about the Gardai (Irish police) for example :

Newsflash on the radio morning news "A large hole appeared last night in the middle of O'Connel Street. The Gardai are looking into it."
