CB 750 K2
« on: August 20, 2013, 12:45:06 AM »
Hey, looking for someone to do a CARB SYNC and tune up on my K2. I am in Perth Western Australia. I really want my bike in experienced hands and someone who knows SOHC's and cares. Cost is not the main issue with this, rather quality???  I have run out of time and space!! Any thoughts?

No worries mate, if money's not a problem, send it to me. In Melbourne......... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Ace (Adam) is an Air Force Officer who's also a CB750 nut. He doesn't get on here all that often, but if you send him a PM, you might get lucky. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Great, there goes my secret identity, thanks Terry. So by the sounds of it, there may be a problem with the smoothies that Terry knew about when he sold them to me.  I never found that problem and now I've sold them to Mick.  So if you have a problem with them Mick blame Terry.  So I've got plausible deniability....thanks Terry  ;D

Actually I bought another set of smoothies and made a great set which you now have Mick.  Yeah I don't lurk here that often these days since I sold the F2, my CB750 problems have all but disappeared  :o

Got your PM Hastenbrucke, then I searched to work out how you tracked me down.  No hiding these days. I haven't come across anyone I'd trust here in Perth, not to say that there isn't anyone I just don't look.  When parts guys at dealers ask what model followed by the year followed by can you say that again, I usually walk away.  I'll be in touch.

You other two behave yourselves now  ;D

Funny bugger aren't you.  Heading to Phillip Island this year Terry?

G'Day Adam, no mate, I only go there for the Classic in January each year, I don't really like modern bikes all that much?

I usually get caught in the motorcycle traffic on GP and Superbikes week on my regular commute to RAAF East Sale though, and I love to watch the guys who've ridden their sportsbikes across from interstate continually changing position and stretching their legs, arms, and necks whilst on the move.

I often wonder if they would have attempted the trip if they'd realised the agony they were going to put themselves thru on a decent ride? I only live a couple of hours from Phillip Island so I could get away with riding my Cafe Racer down next year, but then again, I've got several old bikes that I can ride that are far more comfortable............ ;D
