I am not disputing that filtered air is better for the life of an engine. I was just disputing one of the posters statement of "fact" that you cant put them on these carbs. I run them on the street on an engine that has never been built. I am sure the compression will suffer. I dont care. I am certain it needs to be overhauled anyway.

How do you ride an engine that never been built? Did you install bicycle pedals on your cb?

I know, just razzing him filter-less intakes will ruin built motors and stock motors all the same.
