Please help...point cover question
« on: October 14, 2013, 04:40:44 pm »
I have a 1976 CB550.  The point cover is a little worse for wear (don't ask--but if you are in need of what happened follow this link http://backdoormotoadventures.wordpress.com/) and I want to replace it.  I know the part number is 30370-323-000...however, is the CB550 and the CB400 the same part number?  I can't seem to find the part number for the CB400 and there is one on eBay that looks identical but it is for a CB400.
Any help, gentleman, would be much appreciated...thanks

Hi!

My cross reference database says that the small fours (350,400,500,550) all have the same point cover: Honda part no. 30370323000 (including the gasket).

You might want to risk a look at

yeah or that too.  However she had plenty of time to get out of the way she was super far behind.  But next time I will just move over and deal with the dirt/gravel emergency lane issues later.
