My name is Evan, im 26 and I used to be on here a long time ago as QuikSilver or something like that. Still a Honda nut, just with less sense and more money to throw at my "habit". i also work at a dealership now and spend so much there that i just about get paid in parts. We carry Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, KTM, Victory, and Can-Am. we are also distributors for a ton of aftermarket suppliers like Sudco, Emgo, Marshalls, Sirius Consolidated, etc. I work in parts and run our dyno.
I still have my 2 CB350F's but ive picked up an all original 1973 CB500F with 2500 miles on it from the original owner with original title for $1700 that included a 1971 parts bike. The '73 was clean with original pipes and paint and few blemishes but the parts bike was in rough shape but I've wanted to do a ground up resto on a K0 for a while. I had the frame checked out with the state police and the bike is clean so I'm headed to the DMV soon to apply for a title. I bought the '73 for my dad for his 60th birthday, as his first motorcycle was a CB500F that he shared with my grandfather. He never had much money back then so the bike stayed the metallic brown color and stock so Mom and I figured that he would enjoy a project now that he has the time and money to do whatever he wants to it. We plan to sell off the original parts that we're replacing and that im not using it to rebuild mine, but he too wanted to do a complete teardown. His vision for his bike is slightly different than mine but still pretty cool. Then again, I don't have his time or money. i will start a build thread for each of our CB500 builds detailing our visions and plans as well as progress
