For the Avon Speedmaster is it the 3.25-19 or the 3.5-19 for the front tire?

And what sized Dunlop K70's for the rear?

3.25 - 19 front
4.00 - 18 rear

The topic of vitage looking tires comes up quite often, but I have never seen
a good picture of the original tire treads.  Does anyone have pictures of the
tread patterns of the original tires used on the CB750?    Did the pattern change
over the years?

Conti's about 2x the Duro's...but probably worth it if you are going to ride it much

In my experience, those Conti rears square off pretty quickly.  You can already see that even new their shape is more flat on the riding edge than typical.  A buddy had one on the back of his cb650 and within about 2k miles it almost looked like a cube (and yes, he did know how to scrape a peg on occasion).

I use the Conti's on 4 of my 750's and never had problems or square offs. I am not a very aggressive rider and maybe that has something to do with it. I picked the Conti's as they were recommended on this board. Still happy with them.

I love a good discussion with many people involved. I'll get out when it stops storming and take a pic of the bridgestone on the sandcast. Maybe one of my old rims has an original tire too.

That would be helpfull.   If you can, get a picture of both the tread pattern and the sidewall.

This is the same combination I have on my 1958 Norton. I bought them because they looked 'period correct'  (or at least they were after I filed the 'Made in Japan' off the K70). The original rear Avon SM's were notoriously bad. TBH, if it wasn't for the aesthetics I would go for more modern sticky rubber. The Avon tends to find all the grooves in the road and the Dunlop is too hard for my liking.

I run BT45s on my 750F2. Not by choice, they were on there when I bought the bike. I've had them on two bikes now, and the fronts tend to square off very quickly. Best tyres I've used on a 750/4 are Avon Roadrunners or Pirelli Phantoms.

Most likely a very soft compound and doesn't give long life. Pretty sure Chef had same issue.

How many miles on that tire, Johnie?

Dunlop F6  front
Dunlop F17 rear

Are these Euro models?
What makes you thing tyres for the European market are different from the US market?
The bikes have the same wheels.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

I have Dunlops on two of my bikes but not familiar with the F6.
A quick google search for "Dunlop F6" brings up eBay UK and Dunlop tennis rackets!

I'm  wondering if the F6 might be an obsolete number?

From what I understand honda used two manufacturers for tires on the CB750. Bridgestone and Dunlop. My K6 had the original tires on it when I bought it. Dunlop Gold Seal F6 (3.25-19) on front K87 (4.00-18)rear. The bridgestones would have been S21 F2 on front S21 R2 rear. None of these tires are made anymore.

Thanks for the clarification. Which is the reason for this post. What can be bought now that is somewhat correct appearing?

I hate to blow up a bubble but Bridgestone bought out Dunlop years ago

Eventually one company will own everything anyway.

They are a bit more $$ but the conti RB2-K112 are leading with the Avon speedmaster a close second.

I don't believe that is correct.
