I purchased the hardcover years ago. It is pretty comprehensive and I refer to it often. Excellent reference and easy to read.

Only the stuff about the Chassis and Transistor Ignition are relevant to the 500/550/350F/400F bikes. I'm working on this one, but my 750 version was a culmination of my 40 years of notes I'd kept on the many 750s I've played with. That made it easier: it took me about 18 months to sort through it and build a few bikes so I could make the pictures for it.

I got a 350F, and just finished rebuilding a 400F, so I have gathered some of the pix for those. I still have to find a way to do the 500/550 bikes, as right now I don't have one. I have plenty more 750s, though!

Check my build thread for some more tips on that part. I show how to add sealants to the 'modern' (i.e., non-coated) head gaskets there.

I'd take a 500/550 book too.

I have one 500 Four complete waiting for paint, one 550 rolling chassis, and three 550 basket cases.

If I could get one of them to move I would be a happy camper.
