750 Final Drive Bearing Removal Question
« on: December 21, 2013, 09:29:39 PM »
This is in the lower case, and it's the only bearing left behind when the guts of the motor are removed.  It can only go out to the left, and to push it out it seems like I have to tap on the inner race from the right side...I couldn't find any info on removing it.

That bearing will just tap out Greggo.
It's an interference fit but it's not in there extremely tight.

Knock it through as gently as you can and it will fall out.
If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

+1, I have had only one case when the bearing was a bit of a tight fit, so I used a blind bearing puller.  Even then it just fell out.

Thank you Gents!  I didn't want to tap on it until I knew I could replace it.
