Today is the day we make a motorbike. This is the power plant. Hard to believe it's his gorgeous compared to what it was. I will say the 450 motor is an elegant piece, small curves and nooks. Bill and I were complimenting how the large polished right side covered pays homage to the Brit twins as well. It really is classy.

yeah sorry guys, tuesday night I got 2 hours of sleep, and wednesday night I did not sleep. I left Atlanta at 2am and got home just in time to take a shower and go to work. Bike is with bill, he already explained what was going on. I put a 68-69 brake pedal on there and its about 2" too short so I overnighted him the original brake pedal so you can actually use the brake!

the motor fired up fairly easy, and then after it cooled down it fired up by looking at the starter button! started running at 3k though and if it was fiddled with then it would die. carbs are suspect. so now its with Bill for a little loving. will be headed to pick it up monday and leave ATL for NY. now it's off to pack and make sure Yolanda is ready for the trip as well as the trailer! I have met my goal of getting gas money thanks to all that have helped, big shoutout to Vern for buying a hidden set of 341s I had ;) for sure I will be able to make the trip up and back and get this bike to my dad. could not have done it without all of you. of course a huge shoutout to Bill as well! thanks guys, updates to come. many pictures and video soon I promise, I am still trying to function at work!

A beautiful bike Chef. And such a nice gesture. Hats off to you sir. And to the support guys who helped make it happen as well. I'll bet that machine will run as good as it looks. This is a cool thread to follow. :) I find I'm checking it every day.
