The MV wheels have the sprocket carrier on the opposite side... ;)

Kimtabs are ambidextrous. I had no bearing carriers in the Kimtab for my Triumph and was tired of waiting on parts. So I decided to just pull the back one off the XR and use it for mockup but realized the chain was on the wrong side. Brain farted for a few before I realized "Ya dumb ass, turn the wheel around, they are symmetrical." The only difference it made was the direction of the tire which mattered not for mock up.

That red wheel is missing one of the smaller cush rubbers. I would replace all those in that wheel, they are kind of important.

No, guys, sorry: I have one of these wheels myself on a CB750, they emphatically are NOT from a MV Agusta (they're wider) and as soon as I can access my storage I'll see if there's a makers' mark on it.I got it back in the 70's so I'dhave an alternative to the rear disc setup w/Kimtabs which I have on another CB750. But again, they aren't from an MV.As a matter of fact, the MV wheels are a knockoff of bothh these AND Kimtabs....

I wish you followed up with this. I believe you are mistaken. You have no idea how wide the OP's wheels are. You assume the MV wheels only came in one width. While this wheel is similar to a Kimtab, the Op's wheel is identical to the MV. And you have no idea what yours came off of.

They are not MV Agusta wheels.  They were aftermarket snowflake wheels made for specific bikes like the CB750.  Here is a picture from a Motorcycling Monthly article on the Dunstall Honda.  The article doesn't say who the manufacturer of the wheels was but I'm sure they were European.  I have seen several Dunstall CB750s in his catalog and advertisements with these wheels installed.  Knowing a little bit about how Dunstall operated they were probably British or were at least readily available in England.  By the mid 1970s Dunstall wasn't into customizing frames and adapting different wheels to different motorcycles.
