Hahahaha, I think you might be on to something. His dog is always taking parts out of the garage and playing with it.

I ran a Cobra motor on my dragbike with a 18 X 5.5 G/Y years ago. What times are you looking for with this setup? Wish I had the money to do this, I'm still trying to get my street 750 going :'(.
I hope you posted picture of this build. I enjoy this stuff.

I'm thinking a 18x5.5 would be best myself on a 4.5" rim. He could save that wide PM wheel for the chromemoly Pena chassis.

I ran 10.50 but at the time I was 230lbs, I know a guy that ran S/G (9.90) with the same setup I had but he was a little guy about 120 lbs.

Think I was told this ran consistently in low 10's. Hope they were right. Took some pics of raked frame and clubfoot swingarm. Looks promising. Pics in a few, Bill

Good start. Do we have axle adjusters for the back?. Other than the PM wheel, what other choices do we have?? And what about a front wheel?? Front end??

I know we got electronics via the MSD box. Carbs?? Well, might have to see what you can come up with there. Jon Weeks is a firm believer in re-racking carbs where the spacing is close- we may need to investigate that option. One of which is carbs from an FJ1100 or 1200, or carbs from a 900 Ninja, 84 or 85- all of which could be readily available on Ebay. The 36mm Mikuni flat slides on my F model are actually fitted for either of the bikes i mentioned above. The carbs boots were offset ground so i didn't have to re-space the carbs.

Medyo, will call later today, Bill
Jerry, big auto stuck waiting on finding some CB1100F  rods.
So going to build/ run RC Cobra engine or what looks like one! ;D

As mentiond in an earlier post on another thread,  I have a good set of MA3 rods.
I'm happy to send them over.
You can replace them later when you find a set.

Cheers,
Brian

Oh boy, we're making progress now. Looking good man.

Ironically Bill, i'm in the process of setting up a nitrous system on a fellow CSRA Dragbike Association member's bike right now. So..... we now have another waiting in the wings it seems- SOHC did you say??

Nitrous.... The first time.....kinda like the first time on boost! What a rush! Frank, the sky's the limit on this one! We can do what WE want! ;D pulling out wheelie bars and rear wheels today. Bike has Dyna S, I have new green Dyna coils, the MSD box.Ignition covered. Got to buy a V&H Sidewinder! Got a tapered bearing set for front. Can run F front forks, can modify if ness. Got a GSXR rear wheel with 5.5 Goodyear still mounted,3 spoke. Also PM, and the Kosman/Denco one coming. So I say get running N/A first, then hit it with a shot! 8) Bill more pics later today.
