Hello
To introduce myself a little bit:
My name is Lars Bauwens from Leuven, Belgium (the capital of the Stella Artois beer!).
I'm a 24 year old cameraman/photographer but for the moment I'm working temporary at Donaldson, testing air filter prototypes.
Ten years ago I fell in love with Honda two-wheelers when I called a friend to drive a Honda PF50 Amigo from my brother on a sunny afternoon. The 4-stroke sound, the driving experience, the 'easyness' was unbelievable!
From then it became a true passion!
My own hardtail PF50 Novio was soon in my hands and on the road, after that a couple of other Amigo's, a PS50k, a PC50 and a Honda C310a. All in terrible condition when I bought them, but always the amazing Honda quality so fixing was easy!
When I became 18 I also bought an amazing Honda CB250G.
And suddenly I became stupid and sold almost everything and even traded my first Novio against a Yamaha FS1 until that one was stolen...
Everything gone! So I gave up and started to take the bus and train again... for almost THREE YEARS!
I started to go to filmschool (to learn the technics) so time was also a difficult thing, what was wrong in my head?
Then, a bit more than 2 years ago my girlfriend saw my sisters Honda C50 aka Supercub under a shelter in the garden (had a flat tire and my sister didn't drove it) and she forced me to take it out and fix it and start to be cool again!

Since then, the C50 is my daily transport again and wow, she is amazing!
So the buying started again! 2 Belgian "Flandria Rally's' filled my brothers' garage. Before I started revising my girlfriend and me went on a 6month trip to Southeast Asia where we drove 11.000km's on a Honda WIN100, AMAZING!!! Not a drinking and partying holiday but driving, driving and meeting locals!
So, back home it went from bad to worse and soon I bought 2 Honda PF50 Amigo's again, 2 German 'Kreidler Florett's" and since two weeks an amazing 1975 HONDA CB400F with tank and side panels from the F2 model.
Since january this year me and a friend started an oldtimer motorcycle club and we're also renting a garage box in Leuven together.
So now my plan with the CB400F is to make a custom my-taste motorcycle. I already bought a CB350F fuel tank and I'm making my own 'brat' seat because I really like those seats.
I'm not going to destroy the bike by welding on it, painting it in ugly colors, ...
I want the whole frame to be and to stay original, but I'm just customizing some parts.
I hope I can find some help here too when I have some technical problems or other questions!
