Price of an OEM seat

Holy crap, has anyone seen the price of a new OEM seat on ebay. Honda discontinues it and the price shoots up.
Damn Oh well.

DSS sells a nice aftermarket for $185, but is currently out of stock.

Yeah. The only problem is A. Out of stock, or B. Its got a plastic pan and needs modification to be put on. Would be nice if someone could start reproducing the OEM ones.

Yeah. The only problem is A. Out of stock...

Another member ordered one recently and it was out of stock but he received it in about two weeks.  Not a biggie unless you need a seat to ride.

There are some good reproduction seat covers out there. Refurbish the pan and take it and the cover to a reputable auto upholstery place. I put 5" high density foam in mine, it's better than OEM.

There are some good reproduction seat covers out there.

+1.  I recovered this 550 seat a couple months back....



The pan and foam were in excellent cond, but for $45 bucks, I was very pleased with the result...

A K2 seat here in Australia is $580 delivered.
Mine arrived yesterday.
It's a bit more than the last time I bought one,  but what do you do.

Yeah, called a few places. Yamiya has them for $450. Plus there is a guy on Fleabay who has some OEM ones for 450 bucks too. Its looking more and more like Im going to refurbish mine.
