where to get a NEW primary chain for 1977 cb550
« on: May 05, 2014, 06:41:18 AM »
Hi guys,
Does anyone know where I can order a primary chain for a 1977 CB550?   I have seen some on ebay but would like a new chain.

Thanks

I haven't found one, nor has it been the recommendation of many users that such an aftermarket primary or cam chain are necessary. They're pretty good stock items, and unless you're building a hopped-up street/track bike, unneeded.

I'm buying a new set for my '500 build as well.

Nope, just trying to get it running more smoothly.  I'll go with your first recommendation.
