so got it running good sycn the carbs and while I had the top's off the carbs. I polish them up so now to the engine cover, here a few starter pic James

Those HF bench buffers are a great deal, especially when they run them on sale.  I like the beefier model.

I've just got started and I'm in no big hurry. I'm working on oil cooler lines so I figured I'd start with my "Terry's oil filter/cooler adaptor. Also started on a 750 valve cover. I've never done one and this is a spare. I applied some citrus strip to one side of the valve cover and let it sit overnight. Washed it off and started hitting it with 400 then 600 paper. It's a start. I woked on this and the oil filter adaptor for maybe 1/2 an hour. I also took a little Mother's to the adaptor. It's gonna look purty!!! Still have to get into finer paper and hit it with a buffer and the rouge wheel. Finish up with mother's and away you go!
