CB750 Gear shifter drum
« on: May 23, 2014, 01:34:54 AM »
Hi all,

I've looked at books and pictures and I'm wondering which is the correct way to setup the gear shifter mechanism on a CB750. On the gear shifter drum, you have a washer type plate that fits on the 5 pins. Now does the wheel type thing go on the outside or the inside of the washer type thing. See picture for a better description. I got the pic from a build thread as I didn't have a clear one. Clymer manual had the wheel on the outside, I've seen pictures of both ways. Thanks.
