It has been a bit of a project, but it is almost done, guess I should have been here earlier. New tires, chain, the correct carbs for the year. Bars that actually make it comfortable. Tank and sidecovers from Stevek. Runs like a dream!!

Nice looking. A word to the wise: the paint on that exhaust won't last. Treat it internally with some ceramic-based paint and do keep it cleaned outside. Within about a year they tend to rust up at the first bend due to either a lean running engine, or plain old debris being spattered on them.

They're nice, inexpensive systems that look good and run decent, but the finish is crap for durability.

I bought the bike with the seat this way. I like it too, and I haven't seen another with one like it.

Stevek If you find you have a set of either I would be interested, I just want a complete signal, I only have 1 front lens.

I'd ceramic coat any steel pipe for these bikes.

Wow,  the tank and side covers look great.  I see that the turn signals are mounted.  Whole bike looks very good.

Trent, do you make it to the swap meet this weekend?  I missed out this year.

Trent we aren't in a race around here so don't feel bad about taking longer then you thing it should of.  No rules saying you have to be done with a bike at a certain time. It all comes down to when you want to work on your project and when you don't and of course having the $$ to put into it.
Good job bike looks great. Keep your eyes open for a good deal on some factory pipes, would really have it standing tall then.

Yes. it was hot.  Back is still causing problems.  Riding and wrenching on the back burner.  Also good to read about members progress  working  and riding these great bikes.
