I think the tail light and rear signals are perfect, it's your rear fender that's throwing it off.
Personally I'd try to find a cheap fender on eBay and experiment with making it shorter.

or don't turn signals on at all Im pretty sure they aren't required in texas as well as many other states.  some states do require them if the birthdate of the bike is past 73

You're exactly right. I'd like to get rid of the unused tail light holes as well. I've been scouring eBay for a fender, but can't quite find the right balance of cheap and in good shape quite yet.

Just picked up a NOS stator cover for cheap, and a NOS tool kit. Now all I need to find is the tray lid. After that, it's new rims/spokes, and a set of Avon Road Riders.

I also patched up some of the rust holes on the underside of the Jardines. I didn't do the best job, but it's not too noticeable. They sound MUCH better, especially at idle.

Bonus random picture from the driver's seat of my car after work:



Just need to polish up that clutch cover a little more...

good luck on finding the tray lid.  I've been looking for one for months and only can find the ones on ebay for $100+

I get excited when other people get parts. It holds me over while I'm building up my funds to get things rolling. heh heh.. I've got nearly everything painted for my 750 now. Need to order pistons/rings/gaskets and get my cylinder sent off for machining.

I like these cute little 350's. My wife needs one. That's what I keep telling her, anyway.

Pretty close! I wish I had your 4-4's though.

Few more pictures from today. Adjusted, cleaned and lubed the chain. Also re-sprayed the frame at the exhaust mounting points, as the patch job I did looked horrible in the sunlight.

More fender trimming...front this time.





Got rid of the dents and the holes left from the fender struts.

Also finally extracted the last stripped bolt from the clutch cover.

Hi, first and foremost that's a very nice 350, you've made some tasteful but not too extreme touches, looks good.
I was just curious about how you cut the front Fender and if there's any lip on it? It looks real good from the pictures

Thanks!

I simply used my trusty Dremmel with a regular metal cutting wheel. I cleaned up some of the burr with a grinding bit. That's about it. There's no lip on either of them, since that's a little outside of my expertise...and this was my first time doing any kind of fender work.
