Just got off the phone with Kenny..........DID NOT   ;) ;) ;)

I had my people convince Kenny's people they were being too modest with exposition of the maturation of the beast and ... voila   ;D ;D ;D

Really kool new hi-res pictures on their website.  http://www.cyclexchange.net/Cycle%20X%20Honda%20Drag%20Bike.htm

I cannot wait for the debut at Valdosta especially with all the big name SOHC Gurus planing to be in attendance  8) 8) 8)

OBVIOUSLY wasn't Kenny's bike but it had his 915 kit in it. He said 135mph. Holed up in this trailer. Never came out on Wednesday due to races shut down so I didn't get a bike picture. Lots of $$ in it too. Almost as much as mine.  :) Tried to talk to the guy but he was busy and we got called to the line. Too nice for corrosion. I never saw it with the tank on but I was told it had a really nice aluminum tank. I never saw it run either.

I'm thinking Kenny's will run better when it gets a crank, rods and pistons. Hell, even Billy is working on his ahead of time this year  ;D ;)

And i even got mine ready and out for some testing. Now that the bike seems ready, i'm not so sure we can make the race. Story of my life- missing all the SOHC fun. Darn it!!! Not giving up yet though.......

Looks great Kenny. Put some guts into it like the CycleX 915 kit running 135 here on the salt water at Bonneville Lake/Salt Flats.

I got a feeling that bike will see something much bigger than a 915 kit. I'd say at least a 73mm bore and a 4mil stroker crank- ummm, approaching 1200cc's??

Not sure on cc, but the more hp..... the more chassis/ frame needed. Flex is a four letter word!  lol.
Kenny, you go for it, we behind you! We so looking forward to seeing and hearing this one!  ;D
It'll win most sano now! K. Bill One nice build! BOTM one day! 8)

Any clue as to when testing for this bike will begin for Cycle Ex. I know you guys want to get all the bugs worked out before making the big event in Valdosta. We're all waiting with baited breath to see the numbers.

Frank, It is 74mm x 68mm for 1169.83cc

If Kenny's people leak that info to my people AND we are not sworn to secrecy, I will post it.  ;) ;) ;)

Seriously, you can probably expect a startup video within a couple of weeks if not sooner.

Just guessing  ??? ??? ???, but probably will not have any numbers posted prior to Valdosta.

Be there or be square!!!  ;D ;D ;D

Whoa!!!!! Kenny's people were talking to my people and good news..and..not so good news.

Not so good: The Wiseco pistons are faulty and have to be remade. Something wrong with the oil ring diameter. Kenny is already down to 150 pounds and may lose another 10-20 pounds doing pirouettes while chewing a$$ on the phone and beating on the Wiseco folks for overnight replacements. May be 2 weeks to get the corrected pistons. Running tight with 57 days left to race day. Kenny CAN DO IT!!!

Good news: New pictures on the Cycle-X website including a few pics of the #2 DOHC dragbike being readied and assembled. Another beautiful piece of work as one would expect.

Scroll down a bit for #2.

Maybe Kenny will consider throwing another more off the shelf motor together for the bike in case the custom parts aren't ready in time. At least he can still get the chassis dialed in and be on hand with a bike for the event. My motto is; Never be in a hurry to "f" up.

WISECO PISTON CO. messing up ??????  Dam their must be hundreds of racers worrying about their pistons now ?????  Years ago they sold a KZ piston with rings that poured oil out of a 1105 motor we had in my nephews drag bike, made good with new pistons and oil rings because of some XSX RACING RINGS that never seated.

Tell KENNY to bring that bike to INDY NEXT WEEKEND FOR MAN CUP- NHDRO event and I will get my son Dustin Clark 145 lbs. in leather to put it down his home town track. Why drive to FLA. from far NORTH when you can get a time ticket at INDY = home of the US NATIONALS where them PRO-STOCKS RAN UNDER 200 MPH but next weekend a young man JT from my neck of the woods will run 212-214 mph in 1320' on a street bike [ NO BARS ] as he ran 212mph at Columbus this year at NHDRO.
