What part is this?
« on: July 23, 2014, 03:21:00 PM »

CB750 K4 or K6

Found it on the bench. I think it might be a sprocket spacer but if it was, it wasn't doing much except flopping around behind the sprocket. I am about to seal up the cases and want to make sure it wasn't part of the transmission or clutch. Can't find it on a K4 or K6 fiche.

My bet is, if it is slightly conical, it is the clutch hub spacer. You're going to need that.

Thanks guys.

MC - The conical washer is accounted for. #11 on Tdinova's K4 fiche. Not splined.

GoldArrow - Part #13 on the K6 fiche is a bit smaller in diameter and that is accounted for.

It certainly looks like #10 on the K4 fiche. I was looking at the K4 on another web site but that wasn't listed. Need to check into that. I am combining parts from a K4 and K6 to make one good Primary Drive and Clutch and the area where the center clutch (#2 on the fiche) contacts the Outer Drum seems to be different (K6 has the #13 spacer and a circlip to hold the drum on and K4 doesn't).

It must be #10 on the K4 fiche. Thanks Tdinova. So the question now is if I need it on my K4 Primary drive with my K6 clutch basket? I'm guessing ... yes?  ???
