76 cb750 k and f swap questions
« on: July 24, 2014, 07:13:59 PM »
hi, i have a 76 750k6. its missing some front brake parts, most notably the little spring that positions the brake pad. i found a great deal on a 76 750f parts bike. im sure it has the front brake part that i need. it also has a nice exhaust and stock air box and some other useable parts. im wondering though, if the rear disc from the f can be swapped to my k to replace the drum brake.

The swingarm swaps but the MC mount requires welding and fab work. The exhaust does not fit due to the brake pedal mount but you would need to cut and weld anyway. It's easier to use the f frame and give it a K tank seat and fender however the seat mounts may require welding too.
