550 K0 press in jets, which way is up?
« on: July 28, 2014, 11:43:02 AM »
I used to know this but forgot. I look at the main jet thru one end, then the other, and it looks different both ways. A "shallow" end and a "deep" end? Which end of the jet is pressed into the carb body? Someone please kick me in the head... :P

looking inside can tell you the direction too-the tapered opening would go towards the bowl

When installed, you should still be able to see the jet size number.

Thanks again folks. I'd bet many a P.O. have put them in wrong as well.
Always helps to ask questions :)

Mine don't. Tapered opening is where the tapered needle finds it's place. Easy to remember.
