Similarly, this one went for $15k in January http://www.mecum.com/lot-detail.cfm?lot_id=LV0114-180155  , it  seems it's only on ebay that they fetch the big prices. Odd that.

If you look at Ebay It seems many things go for high prices.  I was looking for a virago wheel for my chopper project, non-Honda, and the rear was anywhere from 19-120.  Same wheel, with and without tire.

Another example is the 4 into 4 exhaust.  Are those made of gold? lol

Its all in what a person will pay.

Somebody got a great deal on that one.  But, don't forget to add 10% to the buyer's total, and subtract 10% from the seller's...  Ebay may have been a better place to get a higher price, but some see it as more of a hassle.

A great price if you want one, not so great if you already have one. L0L.

Greggo, well spotted.   DS already has 2 sandcasts that he bought years back when they were cheap. They were the only ones I knew of in the UK until someone bought a Vic World one 3 or o4 years back, although that's changed hands several times (it was down to £10k at one point) & I think has gone abroad now.

  • Bike almost back to the 70's 2015
Really cheap
It was mostly original too, right? Not an old bike with many miles that has got new aftermarket parts.
Mostly original in wonderful shape must be something special!

An exampel..
Order new 4-4 exhaust + painted tank set from Yamiya will cost some $$$  (K0 4-4 exhausts on eBay cost $3000)
