Topic: CB 750 Air box markings

I have noticed a marking on the left hand side of the air filter box it is stampet with  '750F' on the part just above the bottom of the top half join.
 Is this for a "F" model CB 750
I have a K5 ?.

...sounds like the box is probably from a F.  I've had 77 and 78 F's, and both have that on the air box.  I'm pretty sure the dementions aren't any different...I think the stock air boxes are pretty interchangable for all the years, at least the later models...

My '74 K4 has the same "750F" marking on the air box.

I was under the impression that all the 750 airboxes irrespective of model have that on them - there was a thread a while ago on this very subject I believe... as usual, a quick search doesn't turn up anything though...!

the ones i have seen in the yard on k's the box say's F.

Yep, the air box is marked F on the CBs '71 through '78.  It is just another one of those weird Honda ID things.
