1978 CB750 carbs. PD42B to PD44A?
« on: December 18, 2014, 02:43:35 PM »
I am looking to purchase some carbs for my 750 and came across a set of carbs that seem to be off the same year bike with different jets.
Does anyone know if these will interchange with my carbs and even more important, how Will the bikes performance be affected by changes in Slow and Primary jets?

To start off with. the PD44A are for the 750A. They are 26mm carbs comparable to the PD50/51 carbs on the 650. The PD42B are for the 750K/F. They are 28mm carbs. Totally different flow characteristics. The 44A carbs on the K/F will restrict power.
