Carb sync w/o air box, waste of time?
« on: February 07, 2015, 06:39:21 AM »
Is it foolish to try to sync the carbs, K0 carbs, without the air box installed? Carbs have been cleaned, floats set, idles nicely with readings on vacuum gauges even. Increase the engine speed, reading on #1 drops, 2, 3 and 4 goes up - what's with that?
Thanks, Cliff.

Are you sure you got all the springs back in place?

You can start out without and get them in the ball park but install and re synch for best results.
