Parts from USA or UK
« on: March 21, 2015, 10:53:10 PM »
I'm looking at buying some parts from David Silvers. In your experience(my fellow Australians) who have you found better? ie price, postage or any other reasons.

Dave500 buys most of his parts from David Silver in the UK, send him a PM...  ;)  I buy stuff from Yamiya in Japan also with no problems at all, you can check out shipping costs in your cart before committing to buy...

Thank you all, for your feed back.
I think I'll do a shopping cart comparison and see where that leads me.

I have bought quite a few things from Dave Silvers, never had an issue with them and everything I've ever bought turns up on my doorstep in 4 working days, even the full exhaust system I bought from them ;D

Thx again guys,
My question wasn't so much about DSS reputation(although I feel more confident making a purchase) as it was whether to go with the US store or UK?

I haven't bought much from the US, but I have used Dime City Cycles a couple of times and they were reasonable but everything I have bought from the US has taken around 2 weeks for shipping.

I was looking at the prices on the David Silvers UK store vs the US - prices differ somewhat item to item, I guess it all depends on what the shipping cost from either is.
4into1 is worth checking out too.
