« on: April 12, 2015, 04:35:21 AM »
Hi guys,I recently purchased a replacement blinker switch from Z1 parts for a 1975 CB 750,all wires matched up wire for wire but 2,I am left with a black with red tracer & a black with a brown tracer. The old switch doesn't have these colors or are they in the schematic that I can see from the original owners manual, can anyone help me,thanks Scott

New made switched have not exactly the same color codes, but similar.
Both cables brown/black and brown/red are visible in the cicruit diagram.
Clutch switch, make it possible to start with electrical starter despite no neutral, the other 12V feed from fuse box.

I marked all wires with tape and text before I connected anything. Honda circuit diagram has all details. My European sold bike (K6-76) has the old blinkers and rear lamp as the early ones had in USA. No position lamp in blinkers that you might have according to the diagrams.

I blame my keyboard... or Microsoft bug  ;D My fingers do not always hit were aimed.
If  a gear is in (not in neutral ) the electrical starter will not work. Ok if clutch is used and switch is working.
