Mulling over clutch easement options.
« on: May 27, 2015, 10:38:58 AM »
I'm still having issues with the clutch. I took everything apart, everything is in order. I can only blame the EBC springs. They must be stiffer. Anyway, I would love to live with it but my tendonitis makes it nearly impossible to ride. I've been having to commute on my wr250r for this reason.  I've decided to make a device, similar to the 'Moose ez pull" contraption, to ease the pull by way of leverage. I don't want to change the controls so having a hydraulic lever is not an option, however I have thought about making the stock cable connect to a hydraulic device. Any ideas or pictures of similar setups would be greatly appreciated.

Curious to see options. I sometimes get the same pain.

Yeah man. Its debilitating. From my fingertips to my shoulder. I did see some pretty radical designs out there.

I suppose you could go the magura route... but i dont know if it will have enough travel.

Then I saw this, similar to what strynboen was talking about...

I could also probably just lengthen the actual clutch arm a bit to provide more leverage.

Maybe I will play around with that option first.
