At least it hasn't been hacked up, it will look great with the correct forks, seat and some TLC... ;)

Lots of potential.  My 71 BSA gets along fine with the CB750 and the CB77, sharing the garage.  What year is it ??

1000 for a titled, rebuilt motor, electronic ignition,  1965 Triumph.   500 for the doorag :P=1500 total.  Owner is hard up for cash.  Deal hasn't been consummated but could be later today.  Plan is to make it road worthy, ride it as is for a bit white I gather the parts to bring it back to stock.  Then flip it(not on the ground  ::) for sure).  My friend (the one who I am restoring the DS6 for found it) and swears that with a grand put into it the bike should be worth 4 to 5000....Larry

good point, never thought I'd own a British bike.  I've never even worked on one.  Back in the service during the 60s is when I was introduced to motorcycling by a native of Detroit who happened to have a 650 Bonnie-that may have something to do with this total lack of judgement...Larry

I was kidding of course.  If the rebuild was done correctly it looks like a worthy project.  My brother-in-law had a 500 Trophy Trail a few years ago.  I wouldn't have set across the country on it but it was a blast to ride.

I realized the sense of humor, neither would I set out across country on any vintage Brit bike-crazy would fit someone who did that.

Cool bike

thanks DD, still don't have it yet tho...Larry

Looks like a great project. I'm not a flipper! I enjoy the process of rebuilding but I don't think you can make enough with time spent.

Bill, I have most every tool known to mankind for working on Japanese bikes but no whitworthless, should be able to make do with what I have.  If not, just have to buy more tools ;)

May or may not flip depends on how it comes out.  I usually don't even sell, that is why I have either 9 or 10 bikes-can't keep track.  Not as bad as Expent tho.

and it is official.................The Trumpet is here 8) as of 5 pm today....Larry
