« on: July 22, 2015, 07:39:34 PM »
Hello everyone.

Put pods on my cb because I want that look my question though is the hose going from the air box to the engine head what do people usually do there? Just hook up a little air filter to it?

Thanks?

Also does anyone have suggestions for rear shocks. I see some on eBay for like 120 that sound about right?

Oh cool so I do need to add a filter. And yeah I'd like those in red and black! You used those shocks before?

What is your opinion on getting 14" rather than 13.5" will that mess a bunch up?

I think you missed the blatant sarcasm in Powderman's post.  Those shocks are complete junk, but they "look" okay.  Those do not even fit the Honda CBs.  You need an eye to clevis shock; that one is an eye to eye mount.

If you want a set of quality shocks that will actually help the bike handle, look into a set of IKONS, Progressives or Hagons (all on the lower priced end but still more than $120).  You are not going to get a pair of quality shocks for $120 or under. Period.

If you want higher end shocks, there are Race Tech, Works, Fox, Ohlins and others.

Nope didn't catch it and so I took the advice bought them and they shipped. No returns. Sweet advice. Sarcasm is a little dry when written oh well maybe for another project.
