Clean shiny and slick looking. How much of that is powder coat ?  Is it a keeper or seller ?

All powdercoat except the tank and side covers.  I'd sell for the right price.  Got to thin the herd somehow.  Wish I could get a better pic of the metal flake paint it just doesn't show up in the pics.  Very nice and sparkly.

Looks like you've got that paint and powder dialed in--good job. Any lovely before pics?
PS- When the Planet Blue sells later today let us know if it is staying stateside or leaving the country.

Thanks Charlie,

I like this much better than the straight red.  Just hard to capture the beauty in pics.  I will try to get better pics of the tank latter.

Chewie,

The flake will show up better in direct sunlight.  The overcast lighting is making it hard to discern.

I would like to sell it.  It is very clean powder coated tip to toe.  Got to sell to pay bills and fund future projects.

I have done some old school candy red in the past. Built it up over a gold flake base color. What color was your base ?

That is one of Don Dirtbiker's kits used silver metallic w/silver flake as a base.  If you have the right base coat you just mix in the silver metallic then your ready for candy.  Easy Peasy.

A Ebay vendor in Canada.  Very reasonable prices and fast ship.  They were just across the border from me.  Think it was only $28 for the decals.
