Refinishing early CB750 brake master cylinder
« on: August 23, 2015, 11:31:13 AM »
This is probably a dumb question but I'll ask it anyway.  I have a K0 that I'm restoring and would like to re-anodize the faded master cylinder assembly.  I'm thinking that its OK to simply disassemble and carry it over to the anodizer but, I'm not sure if it's OK to anodize the insides.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Plug the holes with caps or bolts, or something. The anodize will cause the new brake cups to wear quickly, as it is a little bit abrasive and won't "wear in" like the aluminum originally did.
