Spoiler alert.....

Fk that film pisses me off...apart from the soundtrack.
The friggin dog travels all around Australia looking for his master (who had died), then the film ends with the dog finally finding him and sitting at his grave in the town where it all started....ffs, if the dog is that smart how come he didn't know that in the first place and save himself that trip....
Maybe I just think too much....haha

I have to say that it is one of my favourite Aussie movies of recent times.  The bit that pisses me off about that movie, it is set in the 70's and at least one scene if not more contain a WB Holden.  They weren't released until 1980, they could have at least made certain the cars they were using matched the time line.   >:(

Yeh Andrew, I forgot that, I'd spotted it too.
I enjoyed the film until the end, then I got pissed off when I saw the irony and felt ripped off. I even bought the soundtrack cd.

If you're thinking of watching Last Cab to Darwin....save yourself the cost and stay home. Worst acting I've seen for a long time, very predictable, and an indigenous actor trying way too hard to be indigenous...laughable....I usually love Aussie films but that's a dud.

Sorry for the hijack flybox....I'll head off back to the pissed off thread haha.
