'74 CB750 rebuild(carbs)
« on: November 13, 2015, 08:24:24 AM »
Hello all.

This is post numero uno for me. I recently purchased a 1974 CB750 for a winter rebuild project(I live in Cleveland, Ohio. Our winters last roughly 11 months)...

I have already chopped the old rear end and welded a prefabbed hardtail frame in it's place. I'm a machinist so most of these duties are well within my capabilities. However, I am not comfortable dicking with the carbs myself. I'll need them cleaned, rejetted, reassembled and blessed before I can roll.

Pricing seems pretty steep. Any input on a good/reputable place to send them? I don't mind forking over the dough. I just want to make sure it's done well. Thanks, dudes.
