Not necessarily these days.  But sure was true when I was growing-up in the 50's and 60's!

Here's a point to ponder..how can we preserve some of the great memories and experiences of our earlier days..but show a sense of responsibility towards reducing pollution and climate change?

I prefer to ride my old Honda..drive my old Ford..but limit it somewhat (a lot of what I do with my old rides nowadays is mainly reminisce and look at them in my garage anyway). My daily driver is a Toyota Corolla..but the wife and I have been eyeing Priuses more recently.

Oh for the days when I was young and naïve about a lot of stuff LOL!

We are conducting an experiment out in the garage, dry off all your bloody mess, and come join us.
We have a giant wood chipper that shreds steal, batteries, and cement. We will shred a whole bunch of stuff,  and we will melt it all down then super heat it to 30k degrees, while we spin it at 45,000 rpm. We hope to create a new power cell. Then we all will drive Hemi cuda's with 1200 horse power.
I can't believe it

Hello my friend..

Was simply making some personal comments. Think I've been there..done that..as much as any of us here.  Think there's room for all of our opinions..humorous or not..on these threads.

Cheers..have a good day..

Climate change is a bull#$%*. Roll that back. Climate is changing since the dawn of history, but only recently somebody made a big business out of it and convinced all the useful idiots to follow him in this new religion.

That argument has been debunked so many times that its laughable Prokop {and sheer lazy thinking}, yes the climate is always changing, no where in the earths history has the change been so dramatically fast. You know, its really not that hard to research yourself if you have an open mind, even the USA's Koch brothers chief denier changed his mind when confronted with "actual facts" after getting off his well paid ass and seeing massive changes for himself, and he's not the only one..  Keep drinking the Kool aid kiddies, you are in an ever shrinking minority for a reason, facts debunks myths every time... ;D :o

At one point, after twisting the flywheel mounting flange off the the 383 crank, Ted installed a built 440 with a tunnel-ram poking out of the hood. One day his sister asked him where the "thing sticking out of the hood" went; someone stole the tunnel-ram the night before, while the car was parked in the driveway. RB Mopars were pretty few and far between in those parts, but his parts never surfaced. >:(

One of the biggest marketing scams ever perpetrated on the American male. It never worked back then and it doesn't work today.

The friend that got the most tail? Drove a beat up old musty chev station wagon. My cousin who bought brand new cuda R/T 440 and a big block mustang GT fastback back in the day? Couldn't get laid in a brothel with a pocketful of cash! :) But boy all the other grease monkeys sure loved his cars.

If want action drive a Tesla! At least it shows you got money, THAT's what attrractive to women.

Not true, the fastest change was between 1900 and 1910 and also 1930 and 1940, but what are facts to you and your sect.
