Measuring o'ring 750 K1
« on: February 28, 2016, 11:51:44 AM »
Hello guys
I need help
Do you know the measures of oring of valves Oil of 750K1 head?
On the part list 3,7x1,7mm they say but what I took away was very different, more 'big.
Do you know the extent of the o-ring of the valve caps?
I tried on the part list but I can not find anything for sure.
Sorry for language mistakes but I'm using the Google translator
Thank you
Guido

Do you mean the tappet cover o-ring? If so, it's a 30.8mm o-ring. See part #13: http://www.cmsnl.com/honda-cb750k1-four-1970-1971-usa_model14354/partslist/E01.html#results

It sounds like he's asking about the o-rings that go above the oil control orifices.  Those are listed as 3.7mm x 1.7mm.  Part Number 91317-300-003.

Guido, what motor do you have?  The parts book says that starting at engine # 22200001 this o-ring changed to 5.8mm x 1.9mm, part number 91305-323-000.

Right, but he says he found something larger than that.  Always possible the motor was swapped.

Oh wow, never seen anything like that, either in person or in the parts books.

Sorry, I'm stumped.

Must be some regional aftermarket.  Even my K0 head had a normal - old style - oil jet.

that is a ko oil jet,the ones before that were just drilled and not removable,I have the same oil jets, later ones are the ones that look like an emulsion tube,my gasket set did not have the smaller orings so got some 4 by 2 mm as per hondaman, they sit around the orfice but do not cover the outer edge of the jet housing.billp
