Topic: Can't mount CB400F Side covers?

I recently bought a CB400F and noticed that there is no bracket to mount the side covers onto the frame. The bike came with all the stock parts (or most for what I know) but I can't find anything that would mount the side cover to the frame. Am I missing something? What are my options to getting the side covers back on the bike?

I don't own a 400 but...
The upper mounts are there but I think the lower mount bracket bolts onto the missing airbox assembly.

The lower mount tab on the left side has been cut off from the frame and the right side lower mount is part of the battery box/air filter housing which is missing from the bike.

Here are a couple more photos with a clearer view. These are on a 1977 CB 400F and are stock Honda, never messed with, factory mount studs.

Ahh gotcha, so I'm assuming on the original battery box is a bolt on which I can then install the right side cover, but the left side bracket will need to be welded on...fun!

Caretta's got it, but you might be able to improvise as well...
