Congratulations and best wishes Bill.
Another milestone under the belt mate.
They told me that once you hit 60, it's only one year at a time to deal with and to just keep mowing 'em down one by one.  ;D

Hi Bill, Congratulations and Happy Birthday.

Thinking of a gift, maybe you would like to see a Merlin video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_5SLF8ZINM

I got introduced to these watching the Gold Cup hydroplane races on the Detroit River early 60's. What a ROAR when five of them went by in full flight.

Lang may yer lum reek.

I gotta say Kevin, Youtube and no computer sound system anywhere, does justice to those RR engines.  I too, experienced these engines watching the unlimited hydros in the 60s.  They don't call 'em thunderboats for nothin'!  I have 8mm movies, albeit no sound, from those days.

Happy Birthday, Bill.  I look forward to see the screen name change.

No Bill I don't know anyone racing a 305 Super Hawk. Except Frank Giannini's with a Suzuki DOHC head grafted on it, but an original, no.

I dearly wanted to build a CB72 "little brother" to challenge all the 2 strokes that own that class but finding one that hasn't been restored is really tough.
