Webers for sale,less manifold cheap.
« on: July 30, 2016, 11:56:34 AM »
Ebay #152171363842 ........250 bux with wrong manifold.
Say DCOM..we use DCOE 40 series look like the same. Ask them what venturi size .
One diff I see the fuel inlet is not drilled down from the top , but rather the side.
Having touble expanding. Pic to read the series number..you want 40, not 45..

Do some reading before you buy, there is differences...and ask seller what it says on the series boss, and venturi size..

I thought the DCOM was a typo, but there really is such a thing! They use a diaphragm accelerator pump, instead of the piston in the DCOE. They also have vacuum ports for ignition advance. Never seen plastic stacks on a Weber before, either!
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

Apparently. The stacks do not interchange. With DCOE
Venturi holder might be different,  a lot of stuff fits though..
I did note he said or offer, so they are reasonable. If they are 40,s.... Bet they are not from Italy though.

It looked like I could almost make out 40 on one of them, and the seller does state that they are 40's, but I doubt he's an expert; the aux look like they are in backwards, as you can see the alignment pin. ;) Very doubtful they are Italian, more likely Spanish.

Very likely 40's, as they were used on early Alfa's.  The accel pump is same(?), or similar to the IDA.  Pretty sure they use the same chokes & and venturis as the DCOE's.

If you want to make your own manifold that flange cutoff is a good start.
