Lost front turn signal wire
« on: February 15, 2017, 10:00:50 AM »
Folks,

I am finishing up my total rebuild of my 1971 CB500 and I seem to have missplaced the wire that runs through the tube leading to the head of the turn signal.  I remember removing it as the previous owner had cut it too short and I had planned to replace it or lengthen it with a soldered extension.

I am trying to describe the wire that terminates in a small round plastic piece that the turn signal bulb sits against.

Is there a way to make one of these or am I stuck trying to find one online?

And finally, my front signals came with only one wire each, how are these supposed to ground?

One wire is hot and the bulb grounds to the frame through the socket/stalk for the fronts.
The rears ground on wired #11/12 pictured below.
Parts #s for the sockets are in the link above
