CB750 headers
« on: February 21, 2017, 09:48:25 AM »
The only differences from the 69-76 CB750K bikes and the F bikes are stud mounted headers ?  Correct ?

For the most part yes, there could be small differences in the back where the muffler is supported.

gonna try a set of those stainless Delkevic headers.  The head I'm using already has studs, so I figure I'd make it easy on myself

I just purchased a Delkevic exhaust from the US supplier. It's currently in transit to Australia.

I bought the exhaust with the smaller muffler this time. I've not seen this muffler option before, I think it may be new? Well is to me at least  ;D I have the original larger style Delkevic muffler on my other CB750. It looks great, but I think the new smaller universal muffler looks even better. It's supposedly a little louder though. Brilliant value for the price. Stainless steel, fixing point at muffler, keeps the centre stand etc.

You'll love the Delkevic. Open header sounds #$%*in.

I don't know, Frank. I had turned my lights all off, so I don't know why it was turning on. Unless it was a brake switch vibrating on and off. I'll do some more testing this weekend.

I almost don't want to put the cone engineering muffler back on. But for the sake of my neighbours I think I will.

  A Honda 75/76 F  4-1 won't fit a K because of the brake pedal pivot, 77/78 does fit a K  A K exhaust should fit an F if you make a mounting tab.
