Topic: Long time member with many posts, but my posts never changes from 5

I know that sounded confusing, but I have bought sold, commented many many times within this site. And my POSTS has never grown from 5........And I am going to imagine that it will now be 6 after this post. Murphys Law

Posts in the Classifieds section don't add to your post count.  You are now at 6 because you posted here in the Open forum.

Oh, I see. Thanks. Glad I asked. I Guess I am not adding to the rest of the site enough. I will work on that.

It's not a bad thing to mainly post to the classifieds, but since a member's post count is somewhat considered to be a measure of his/her involvement in the group it's a decent way for other members to help judge whether or not they want to do business with them.  Aside from that, due to their nature all posts in the classifieds section get deleted after a certain amount of time, so any number boosted by posts there would soon drop back down, anyway. 

We'd be happy to see you in any of the other sections of these forums, too!
