Have an old Ascot that is becoming a tracker.   I've seen the tires.  Having a hard time finding them.    Can't tell what size these are by the photo, but those are factory/stock wheels which are 19" & 18"
Anybody know where to find them or wager a guess as to what size those tires are ?

Maxxis has tires. And a few others Shinko I think.. But 19 is the preffered size.
Try searching flattrack on ebay . About 22 pages...plenty of tires will show up.

I am liking the Coke stuff. I had a button, and a big sign similar to that one..

I'll check there.   the rear is 18" and I'm stuck using the stock wheels for this particular build.

I don't know that anyone is making a street compound lookalike...if not, you are gonna be looking at maybe 1000 miles out of a set?  Let me know what ya find though.  I agree flat track rubber has a great looking tread pattern.  Sure seems like there would be a market for this.
If it works good, it looks good...

I don't know if this helps but I have he pirelli mt43 pro trials on my wr250 and they are DOT approved and work very well on the street. 21" front though. Rear is an 18.

I'm building up an old FT500 Ascot.  The sizes are:  3.5 x 19   and  4.25 x 18
Shinko makes a DOT legal 130x19 tire in 3 different compounds!  And you can get them for under $100.
Those would just be too big for these rims and I'd still need an 18" for the rear.

they are out there - I just haven't found them yet.

Dunlop supplies the 19" tires for AMA Flat Track Racing.  Maxxis is a more affordable option.  I didn't know Shinko made a road-version of the dirt track tire.  I wonder how slippery they are on asphalt.

If you are going to ride it on the street get the Dunlp[ CD-8 (hard compond) they should wear pretty good on the street since its hard to wear them out on a groove track spinning like crazy. If your going to race it get the Maxxis CD-3 (soft compound) you'll like them on the track. 19" is the standard dirt tire so I dont know if anyone makes them 18" or not. Mitas also makes a really nice compound race tire. The Maxxis and Shinko have the same tread pattern with the Mitas being similar to them, the Dunlops are totally different pattern from the other 3. I dont think any of them are DOT legal.
