Thanks

Nice project.  Are you going to re-lace the wheels?  It's hard to tell in the photos how heavy the rust is on the spokes.

The wheel is rusty was thinking of replacing spokes but I will see how they clean up first, I'm surprised how rusty parts are on it but some actually clean up ok, I want to rechrome as some parts clean up but still pitted but it's very expensive here.

Spokes can sometimes clean up sufficiently with steel wool, followed by some WD-40 and occasional rust preventative.  Pitted rims are more difficult, depending how severe the pitting is.

Nice Brendo!  8)  If your speedo and tacho are still in basic working order, they can be resurrected!  Takes a bit of work though.

Not this one, water got past the seal for years, completely rusted inside, seems very hard to find a klm/hr Aus one, any leads to finding one would be much appreciated.

Brendo, I have both original speedo (km/h) and tacho that I pulled from my -75 cb500. Have been working great earlier.
But I do live in Sweden, so it might be too much with shipping etc for you?
