Topic: Searching for a petcock for a 78 750k

 It looks like my Google-Fu is weak, or there just are no more OEM petcocks for a 78 model. I noted that the petcock for a 77 is still available; are they compatible? Thanks!

Tanks for 77 and 78 models are the same except decals. I don't see why 77 petcock will not work in 78. Still available at:

 From what I can tell the difference is the 78 petcock exit out the back at the 77 exit to the right side. I ordered one from a 77 NOS on eBay for $30  from Honda dealer.  I did find a way to rebuild these, but for $30 it’s just not worth it.

That is it from Honda?  You dont want to see dealer cost for NOS for a 650...

I have the 77 on my 78...It works perfectly fine you just turn is 90 degrees and all is well
