Frame and swing arm bolt tightening sequence
« on: May 09, 2018, 03:20:47 PM »
Im finally ready to torque up my engine and swing arm bolts and I seem to remember seeing a post on here that gave a sequence for tightening the various bolts to make sure things don't go out of alignment.  Ive had a look through all the threads ive saved but can't find it - does anyone know where it is or have any advice?

Found this in my archives...

".... the arm must be tightened first, then the engine rear mounts, so the frame gets pulled inward at the engine, making a tight rhombus structure down the middle of the bike's frame. This stiffens the whole frame, especially in corners!.....'
