What to do with oil tank and crankcase vent? '76 750F

Hey guys, so the previous owner of my bike disconnected the "vapor separator" thing (or whatever it is) on my '76 750F, and the bike has a 750K air box, so it doesn't have the fitting for the separator to connect to. So I can't properly reconnect it, even if I wanted to. But I've read that the 750F vent system tends to plug up and stop working in short order anyways.

The issue is he just left the crankcase vent and the oil tank vent tubes open without anything connected to them. The top crankcase vent hasn't been an issue, but my oil tank vent has been hassling me. After a long ride, my bike tends to mark its territory from oil mist dripping out of the oil tank vent. Most of my friends do not appreciate me marking up their driveway with oil drips.

Does anyone have any ideas  to what I can do? I've been thinking to maybe run a hose from the vent down to the chain, so at least the oil mist/vapors will lube the chain instead of the ground?

Crank case vent should be routed to oil tank via the breather assy, right?
Some parts must be missing here, not only the air box

If you route rear breather from engine direct to oil tank, over pressure will occur. That,s why you need the breather assy that vent it out, but back in to the engine via air box as an environmental thing. No air box, still need of the ventilation between engine rear outlet and oil tank.

The breather assembly is still there, but the air box doesn't have the fitting on top to connect to the breather assembly.

You can get a filter that fits.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

The oil tank "vent" is actually the drain from the air/oil separator inside the tank, and should be connected to the nipple on the rear of the crankcase. High RPMs cause frothed oil to be sent to the separator, which condenses it and drains it through the nipple.

Do you have a schematic or a picture of how that should be connected? The images PeWe linked are not exactly clear on how the hoses connect.

This is a pic of a mocked-up K7 tank on a K7 motor, which should be similar to the '76 F.
