1972 CB500K Wiring
« on: July 24, 2018, 05:06:50 AM »
Finally got to a point where I'd like to start "eliminating" the old battery compartment where the old air filter used to be. The previous owner left quite a bit of a mess. I'm not mechanically inclined or an electrician, but I've always had the idea to DIY first.

FYI: I'd like to clean up the wiring to move the battery to a under seat tray and take off the side panels.

I've attached an image of what I'm currently seeing!

I guess the main question would be, how do I clean up this wiring? How do I get it out from the side covers and under my seat/top of the frame?
I've seen the wiring diagrams but I'm not sure where to start or how to proceed.

Ah, perfect!
That's exactly what I needed to take the next steps into this mess.
